Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files a site can store in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, let a site keep small pieces of information on your device. We use the term "cookies" below to cover all of them.

These are required for the service to function and cannot be switched off within the app.

• Authentication and session storage — keeps you signed in to your Linkavid account and keeps your session secure.
• Gallery access state — remembers that a password-protected gallery has been unlocked during your visit.
• Security and abuse prevention — helps protect sign-in and payment actions.

Checkout is handled on Stripe's own pages. Stripe may set cookies necessary for payment processing, fraud prevention and security under its own policies.

Linkavid does not currently use analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before any non-essential technology is used, where the law requires it.

Films in a gallery play from the provider the filmmaker linked, such as Vimeo, YouTube, Dropbox or Google Drive. When a film loads or plays, that provider receives a request from your browser and may set its own cookies or process information under its own privacy and cookie policies. We do not control those technologies.

You can block or delete cookies and clear site storage in your browser settings. Because the technologies we set are strictly necessary, blocking them will prevent you from signing in or from opening password-protected galleries.
