Terms of Service

Last updated 6 October 2026

These terms govern your use of Linkavid. Please read them carefully — by creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

01 — About Linkavid

Linkavid is a presentation and delivery layer for films that are already hosted with third-party providers. It lets filmmakers create client-facing galleries that link to and present media stored in their own cloud accounts.

Linkavid is operated by the business identified on this page. Contact: Contact.

02 — Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for activity that takes place under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

03 — Description of the service

Linkavid allows you to create galleries containing a cover image, event details and links to films you host elsewhere, and to share those galleries with your clients. Linkavid stores your gallery information, cover images, studio branding and the links you supply. It does not store, host or back up your original video files.

04 — Free beta and free galleries

Linkavid is free to use while it is in beta. Free during beta, not forever.

Outside the beta, accounts include one free gallery. A free gallery is independent of any subscription: it is not affected if a subscription is later cancelled or ends.

05 — Pay As You Go gallery credits

Sections 5 to 7 describe paid options that were offered before the beta and apply to any such purchase or subscription. Pay As You Go purchases provide gallery credit(s) or use as described at checkout. They are one-off purchases, not recurring subscriptions, and do not renew automatically. A credit is consumed when a gallery is created using it. Galleries created with a credit are independent of subscription status.

06 — Unlimited Video and Studio subscriptions

Subscription plans provide the features described on the pricing page at the time you subscribe. Feature sets may be adjusted over time; material reductions to a plan you are actively paying for will be notified to you.

07 — Billing and recurring payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. The price shown on the pricing page or at checkout at the time of your purchase is the price that applies. Prices may change for future billing periods or future purchases.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout until you cancel. Applicable taxes may be added where required.

08 — Cancellation

You can cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for; your subscription remains active until then.

09 — Failed payments and payment recovery period

If a renewal payment fails, Linkavid may provide a payment recovery period of up to 7 days from the first failed payment. During that period, eligible subscription galleries can remain accessible while payment is retried.

If payment is not recovered by the end of that period, access to subscription galleries may become unavailable. If payment succeeds during the recovery period, normal access resumes.

10 — When a subscription ends

  • After the paid period ends, galleries created under a subscription may become publicly unavailable.
  • Linkavid preserves those gallery records rather than deliberately deleting them solely because a subscription ended.
  • Resubscribing may restore eligible preserved subscription galleries at their existing URLs.
  • Free galleries and galleries created with Pay As You Go credits are not affected by subscription cancellation.

11 — Gallery availability

We aim to keep galleries available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Availability also depends on your plan status and on the third-party providers hosting your films. We do not promise permanent hosting, unlimited bandwidth, or that a gallery will never become unavailable.

12 — External video and storage providers

Films presented in Linkavid galleries are streamed from the provider you linked, such as Dropbox, Google Drive, Vimeo, YouTube or a self-hosted or network-attached source. Those providers operate under their own terms and policies. Linkavid does not control them and cannot guarantee that a source link will remain available, performant or unchanged.

13 — Your responsibility for source files and links

You are responsible for maintaining your original media, your provider accounts, the sharing permissions on your files, and the correctness of the links you add to Linkavid. If a link is removed, expires, is made private or is rate-limited by the provider, the film may stop playing in your gallery.

14 — Client gallery access

You choose who receives a gallery link and may protect a gallery with a password. Anyone who has the link, and the password where set, may be able to view the gallery. You are responsible for how you distribute gallery links and for the content you present to your clients.

15 — Intellectual property and content ownership

You keep all rights in your films, images and other content. You grant Linkavid the limited permission needed to store, process and display that content in order to operate the service for you. Linkavid, its software, branding and design remain our property.

16 — Acceptable use

You must not use Linkavid to:

  • share content you do not have the rights to share, or that infringes anyone's rights;
  • share unlawful, harmful or grossly offensive material;
  • attempt to breach security, access other users' data, or disrupt the service;
  • circumvent plan limits, billing or access controls.

17 — Availability and changes to the service

We may update, change or discontinue features to improve the service or for technical, legal or security reasons. We aim to give reasonable notice of significant changes that adversely affect paying customers.

18 — Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill or indirect or consequential loss, or for the unavailability, alteration or deletion of media held with third-party providers. Our total liability in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid to Linkavid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

19 — Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, is used unlawfully, or presents a security or payment risk. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

20 — Refunds and your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer law, including any cooling-off, cancellation or refund rights you may have.

Where you have a statutory right to cancel a purchase of digital content or services, that right applies as provided by law, including in cases where supply begins immediately at your request. If you believe a purchase should be refunded, contact us and we will consider it in line with your legal rights.

21 — Privacy and data protection

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we handle and why. Our Cookie Policy explains the technologies we use in your browser.

22 — Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

23 — Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. Nothing here removes protections you have under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
